Announces Reboot(TM)/Beast Wars(TM) U.S. Syndication Roster Confirmed September 4, 1996, 2:39 PM EDTAdditional episodes of ReBoot have been created; Season III is 16 episodes, arranged as four 4-part stories.VANCOUVER, Sept. 4, 1996 /CNW-PRN/ - Mainframe Entertainment Inc. of Vancouver, B.C. and Claster Television of the United States have confirmed the roster of U.S. television stations to pick up Claster's Power Block of programs for broadcast in the United States for the 1996/97 season. The Power Block includes Mainframe Entertainment's ReBoot and Beast Wars:Transformers, the world's first 3D computer animated children's series. More than 110 stations across the United States have bought the shows, which will begin airing in some markets starting the week of September 16, 1996.
Claster Television distributes syndicated series to 85 percent of the U.S. television market.
Mainframe Entertainment Inc. produces ReBoot, winner of three Gemini Awards, and Beast Wars, its newest 3D computer animated series, at its state-of-the-art facility in Vancouver, Canada.
ReBoot joins "Beast Wars:Transformers" and "VOR-Tech" in the children's block, which debuted Fall 1996 on 106 stations covering 85% of the country. The block was shown five times a week in the early morning. ReBoot had been scheduled for Thursdays, at 7:00am or 7:30am in most markets.
The 1996-1997 season started the week of September 16th in the US. ReBoot showed on Thursdays, starting 19-Sep-96. Channel-44 in San Francisco showed ReBoot at 7:30am Thursdays.
ReBoot was re-launched, starting with 13 episodes from the first and second seasons. Claster's syndication package ended on 12-Sep-97. No details yet as to which syndicator or network will show Season III in the US.
